Wilma “Peggy” Clarice Polan

Wilma “Peggy” Clarice Polan 90, of West Union passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Camden Clark Hospital. Peggy was born in New Milton, WV on April 6, 1934 a daughter of the late Charles Kermit and Susie Mildred Ross Boyce.

Peggy is survived by two sons, Kermit Ray Polan and wife Tara, Barlow, OH, Craig A Polan, West Union; daughter-in-law, Shawn Polan, Parkersburg; son-in-law, Tom Conner, Parkersburg; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clinton Ray Polan on June 2, 1992; three children, Cheryl Ann Conner, Kevin Trent Polan and Marvin Lyle Polan; one sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Lamp; one grandson.

Peggy graduated from Doddridge County High School and had worked for the Doddridge County Senior Center and Blandville Adult Day Care.  She was a member of Blandville United Methodist Church. Peggy enjoyed collecting bells, quilting, crocheting and doing needle point.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 3-7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bill Davis officiating.
