William Oren Sharpes

William Oren Sharpes, 34 of Salem Long Run Rd. Salem departed this life on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his home. He was born in Clarksburg on November 18, 1983 a son of Lila Lou Lyons Sharpes, Salem and the late John D. Sharpes.



Surviving are two sons, Jessie Lee Sharpes and Oren William Sharpes, one brother, John Michael Sharpes and wife Connie, Clarksburg, one sister, Lila Sue Sharpes and fianc, Travis Bartlett, one niece, Harper Bartlett, maternal grandmother, Marlene Lyons, Salem.



Mr. Sharpes was employed as a carpenter and painter. He enjoyed drawing, painting, camping and all outdoor activities; but most of all spending time with his children. William had a huge heart and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Napier presiding. Interment will follow in the Sharpes Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, after 11 a.m. until time of service.
