Wilda "Pat" Travis, 85 of Crystal Lake departed her earthly life on March 22, 2018 in United Hospital Center surrounded by her family. Pat was born at Miletus on August 6, 1932 a daughter of the late John "Chris" Jenkins and Versa Adams Jenkins. On March 23, 1951 she married Gerald "Duke" Travis, who survives.
Also surviving are her sons & their wives. Mike and Barb Travis, Smokey and Robin Travis, Mark and Tammy Travis. Grandchildren, Ashley (Adam) Skeens, Zach (Connie) Travis, Kesslee (Travis) Davis, Gunnar, Lindsey and Jessica Travis. Step granddaughter Michaela "Shae" Greathouse. Great grandchildren, Kordale Travis, Parker Skeens, Preslie Davis, Lydia Skeens, Duke Davis. Step great grandchildren, Kaitlynn and Kaden Anderson. One step great great grandchild, Paislee Booher. She is also survived by sisters Rita Hiley and Joyce Stout and brother Larry Jenkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who think of her as a Mom.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Bill Adams, Paul, Meredith and Gerald Jenkins and sisters Wilma Romel and Mary Jean Gum Fling.
Pat graduated from Doddridge County High School in 1951 and retired in 1997 as co-owner of Duke's Carry Out. She faithfully attended West Union Christian Church. She enjoyed Steelers football, Mountaineer sports, DCHS sports and loved fishing with family. Pat will be remembered for the love and kindness she showed to her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:00PM with Pastor Joe Schneider presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, Crystal Lake. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2-8 PM and after 1:00PM on Sunday until time of service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Travis family.
