Timothy Rex Shepherd

Timothy Rex Shepherd I, 58 of Ramsey's Ridge Rd. West Union departed this life on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in J.W Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born at Dayton, OH on July 30, 1959 a son of the late Clarence M. and Geneva I. Cogar Shepherd.



Surviving is the love of his life and mother of his children, Holly McCormick, one daughter, Amy Shepherd, New Matamoras, OH, three sons, Timothy R. Shepherd II and fianc Angela Burr, Salem, twin boys, Joshua M. Shepherd, West Union, Jeremy P. Shepherd, New Matamoras, OH, ten grandchildren, Timothy R. Shepherd III, Lacey Shepherd, Lilly Shepherd, Levi Shepherd, Jeremiah Shepherd, Destiny Shepherd, John, Graisa, Maleigha and Reagan Pattison, two sisters, Judy Harpold, Daytona Beach, FL, Janice Whitehair, Pennsboro, six brothers, David Shepherd, Tyler Co., Rick Shepherd, Pennsboro, Roy Shepherd, Ellenboro, Clarence Shepherd, Cambridge, OH, Randy Shepherd, Akron, OH, and Pete Shepherd, Greenwood and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, June McCormick.



Mr. Shepherd was a drywall hanger and finisher for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and camping; but most of all spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ruford Abner presiding. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 until time of service.
