Scott Edward Irons, 42 of Front St. West Union departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1968 in Kansas City, Kansas a son of the late Paul Edward and Barbara Louretta Knight Irons.
Surviving is one sister, Cynthia L. Hastings and husband Jeff, Santa Barbara, CA, two aunts, Mary Lee Nesler and husband Charlie, West Union, Loretta Irons, Cardington, OH, Uncle, Jim Davis, Endicott, NY, eleven cousins, Ed Nesler, Longs, SC, Dan Davis, Endicott, NY, Kristina Davis, Endwell, NY, Claudia Bonen, Crestline, OH, Bev Bogantz, Crestline, OH, Jeanette Holbert, Blue Springs, MO, Lynn Laughlin, Mansfield, OH, Mary Jo Isch, Mansfield, OH, Karen Payne, Mansfield, OH, Douglas Slack, College Station, TX and Roger Slack.
Scott was a former copy editor and graphic artist for several newspapers. He was a loving brother and friend and will be sadly missed. Scott enjoyed art, music and ice skating.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St. West Union on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jim Messenger presiding. Interment will be in the Masonic Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. There will be a time of gathering one hour prior to service in the funeral home chapel.
