Sally J. Trent

Sally J. Trent, 67 of Rt. 18 S. West Union departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at her residence. She was born in West Union on August 1, 1946 a daughter of the late William Martin and Phame Hart Trent.

Surviving is one sister, Dolores Hinterer Hoover and husband Robert, New Milton, two brothers, William Lee Trent and wife Debbie, New Milton, Richard Trent and wife Karen, Buckhannon, nieces and nephews, Phyllis, Phillip & Craig Hinterer, Tammy, William "Billy", Scott & Tim Trent.

Sally retired from West Virginia University Hospital, Medical Records, Coding/Billing Department with 25 years' service. She enjoyed quilting. Sally was a member of Avon Community Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 11:00AM with Reverend Erik Neilsen presiding. Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery, Middle Island. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation, 490 E. North Ave. Suite 410, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, which had been a part of Sally's life for many years.
