Ruth Ann Davisson Sinnett

Ruth Ann Davisson Sinnett, 75, of West Union departed this life on Monday, April 28, 2014 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born on July 26, 1938 in Doddridge County a daughter of the late Elisha W. and Clara June Haught Shields. She was preceded in death by her first husband Randall Davisson on January 25, 2009. She is survived by her second husband Glenn Sinnett.

Surviving is one son, Michael Allen "Mike" Davisson and wife Jennifer, West Union, one granddaughter, Taylor Dawn Davisson. One sister preceded her in death Patty Donley.

Ruth Ann was a homemaker and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and been a member of the Women's Army Corps. She had attended Fresh Start Ministry.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 11:00AM with Pastor Roger Morrison. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery, Sardis. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 4-8PM.
