Robert Floyd Wilson

Robert Floyd "Bob" Wilson Sr., 81 of Glendale, (Ritchie County) went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 25, 2013 surrounded by his loving family in the Genesis Health Care Center, Salem.

He was born on April 15, 1932 at Enterprise, a son of the late Roy O. and Dona M. Harris Wilson. On September 22, 1958 he married Loretta Elder Wilson who survives.

Also surviving are children, Ronda Hinzman and husband Neil, Vienna, Susan Hardbarger and husband Greg, Harrisville, Joyce Riggs and husband Roger, Pennsboro, Donna Richards and husband Jeff, Davisville, Robert Wilson Jr. and wife Heather, Morgantown, William Wilson and wife Beth, Greybull, WY, 31 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, two brothers, Donald Wilson, Picayune, MS, Daniel Wilson, Salisbury, NC, one sister Betty McBee, Westover and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as an auto body repairman and was a volunteer with the Ritchie County Emergency Squad. Bob pastored at several Churches of God. He was a member of the 19th St. Church of God, Parkersburg and had recently attended Riddle's Chapel Church, Harrisville. Bob enjoyed family gatherings and gardening.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 3:00PM in the Riddle's Chapel Church, Harrisville.
