Robert Joseph Scott

Robert J. "Bobby" Scott, 72 of Elkins formerly of Black Lick Community (Doddridge County) departed this life on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Nella's Nursing Home, Elkins. He was born on January 15, 1945 at Rosemont, (Taylor County) a son of the late Clyde A. Scott and Mary Lee Moore Davis.

Surviving is a cousin, Jeff Harris, Elkins. He is preceded in death by his step father, Walter "Doc" Davis.

Bobby had attended Greenbrier Traugh, Romney School for the Blind. He was a member of Black Lick Baptist Church. Bobby was a friend to all and will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front Street West Union on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 1:00PM with Pastor Robert Marino presiding. Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery, Greenbrier. Friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 after 11AM until time of service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Scott family.
