Robert "June" Morrison,

Robert "June" Thomas Morrison, Jr., 96, of Joy Cabin Run Rd., West Union, formerly of Harrisville passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the Genesis Healthcare, Salem. He was born April 15, 1917 in Detroit, MI a son of the late Robert Thomas Sr. and Blanche Satterfield Morrison.

Mr. Morrison was the last surviving member of his family. He had worked as a block layer and loved hunting and fishing. He was a World War II Army veteran serving as an airplane and engine mechanic.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union with Pastor Denver Burnside presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice.
