Robert Lewis Hall, 69, of Smithton Rd., West Union departed this life on Thursday, December 24, 2015 in the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center, Clarksburg. He was born in West Union on September 14, 1946, a son of the late Louis Elliott and Goldie Maxine Friend Hall. On May 30, 1975 he married Cheryl L. Norris Hall who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Cody Hall and wife, Amy, of Inwood, W.Va.; one daughter, Misti Hall, of West Union; one brother, Doug Hall and wife, Joyce, of West Union; three sisters, Lola Simonton and husband, Sterling, of Parkersburg, Beth Ann Kellar and husband, Craig, of West Union and Pam Stinespring and husband, Victor, of West Union; brother-in-law, Scott Cochran, of Jarvisville; and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Brenda Cochran, preceded him in death.
Mr. Hall was retired from EQT as a Crew Leader with over 30 years service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Viet Nam Era. Bob enjoyed hunting, trout fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00PM with Craig Kellar presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. Full Military Honors will be accorded by the Combined Doddridge County Veterans Organizations. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 4:30PM to 8:30PM and after 11AM on Tuesday until time of services.
