Rita Gaspie Obituary

Rita Gaspie, 76 of Salem formerly of Mechanicsville, NY departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2019 in the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born at Troy, NY on September 23, 1942 a daughter of the late Manual and Bernie Gaspie.

Surviving are one daughter, Terry Hutson and husband Kevin, Sedalia, one son, Franklin Thomas Johnson III and companion Dawn King, grandchildren, Courtney McCartney, Kristin Burnside, Ethan Hutson, Cody Hutson, Franklin Thomas Johnson IV, great grandchildren, Landry Turner, Rowan McCartney, Magnolia Burnside and Rebecca Hutson.

Rita had been employed by McDonald's Corporation for 20 years where she was actively involved in fundraising for Ronald McDonald House. She enjoyed bingo and spending time with her family. Rita was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
