Rev. David Lee McCauley

Rev. David Lee McCauley, 55 of West Union went to his heavenly home on Thursday, May 23, 2024. David was born January 20, 1969 in Cleveland, OH, son of Rev. Roger Lee (Diana) McCauley, Madison, WV and Wilma Jean (“Wink”) Ball Lanham, Mount Clare. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Teresa Ellen Isner McCauley whom he married on October 15, 1988.

David graduated from Tygart Valley High School, Class of 1988. He was currently the Pastor at Immanuel Fellowship Church and Bus Driver for Doddridge County Schools. His life was his ministry, family, and friends. He was a Cleveland Browns fan and took pride in keeping his cars clean, the flowers he bought and took care of for his wife from Mother’s Day and cooking excellent meals. 

In addition to his wife and parents, David is survived by his two sons, Matthew McCauley and wife Felicia, Mount Clare, Chad McCauley and wife Amber, Huber Heights, OH; five grandchildren, Brayden, Azrael, Sarah, Arabella, and Judah; brother, Roger “Rob” Lee McCauley Jr and wife Michaelean, Mentor, OH; additional siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Family will receive friends at Doddridge County High School Auditorium, 79 Bulldog Drive, West Union, WV 26456 on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 3-7PM and on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 9 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Rev. Roger McCauley and Rev. Matthew McCauley officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Memorial Park, West Union.
