Randall Lee Davisson

Randall Lee Davisson, 81 of Rt. 1 West Union passed away on Sunday January 25, 2009 in the United Hospital Center. He was born on December 30, 1927 at Sardis, Harrison County a son of the late Harold J. and Garnet M. Williams Davisson. On August 27, 1960 he married Ruth Ann Shields Davisson who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Michael Allen Davisson and wife Jennifer, West Union, one granddaughter, Taylor Dawn Davisson, two half sisters, Judy Green and husband David, Wilsonburg, Patty Aurora, Clarksburg, one brother, Harold J. Davisson and wife Margaret, (Gregory Run) Wilsonburg and several nieces and nephews. One son Randall Lee Davisson Jr. preceded him in death.

Mr. Davisson was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, West Union with 29 years service. He served 18 months in the U.S. Army and three years in the U.S. Air Force. Randy attended Fresh Start Ministry, West Union.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union with Pastor Roger Morrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery, Sardis. Family and friends may call in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday January 27, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
