Patricia "Trish" Cooper

Patricia "Trish" Cooper, 54, of West Union departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. She was born in Clarksburg on February 20, 1965 a daughter of the late Robert R. Underwood and Bonnie J. "Sally" Smith Underwood. On September 21, 1986 she married Dewayne Cooper who survives.



Also surviving is one son, Brian Cooper, West Union, one sister, Kathy Sisler and husband Kerry, West Union, one brother, Phillip Underwood, West Union and several nieces and nephews. One infant sister Tammy Underwood preceded her in death.



Trish was a former employee of the Herald Record. She enjoyed doing crafts and was a master gardener. She had formerly attended Red Oak Church and was a member of the Bloomers CEOS. Trish was known for her jovial nature and ability to spread laughter wherever she went.

She was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be sadly missed.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Garavaglia presiding. Interment will follow in the Freeman/Coleman Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Monday until time of service.
