Ora Day Seese

.Ora Day Seese Jr. 90 of Cridersville, OH formerly of Cameron, WV departed this life on Friday, December 02, 2016 in Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, OH. He was born in Doddridge County on May 10, 1926 a son of the late Ora D. Seese Sr. and (Nancy Gay Cottrell). He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ruth (Yoho) Seese.
Surviving are one son, Ora D. Seese III and wife Kaye, Lima, OH three grandchildren, Amber Martin (Jim), Joshua Seese (Laecen) and Carrie Seese, and two great grandchildren (Nicholas and Addison Seese) Also surviving are three sisters, Guilda Ash, Salem, Mary Bates, West Union and Joann Gaston, Pennsboro. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Conrad, Roy and Jack Seese and three sisters, Audra White, Iris Stone and Phyllis White.
Mr. Seese was retired from Columbia Gas Transmission Corp. as a Supervisor. He was a WWII Army veteran serving in the 82nd Air Bourne.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 2:00PM with Pastor Chad Ash presiding. Interment will be in the Serenity Views Cemetery, New Martinsville. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 after 11AM until time of service.
