Norma Jean Heflin

Norma Jean Heflin, 76, of Coffee Ave. West Union departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born on December 17, 1941 at Morgantown a daughter of the late Rev. George Robert Neely and Beulah Leona Reed Neely. On December 12, 1958 she married James C. Heflin who preceded her in death on May 17, 2016.



Surviving are one son, James Gregory Heflin, St. Mary's, three daughters, LaDonna Lombardi, New York, NY, Tammy Toffali, North Babylon, NY, Sherri Carpenter, West Union, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, one sister, Bonnie Bragg, Bens Run, three brothers, George Neely, Greenwood, Rev. Gilbert Neely, Central Station, Crandall Neely, Philippi, several nieces and nephews. One grandson, Larry Dalrymple and one brother, John Neely preceded her in death.



Mrs. Heflin worked for Cytec for eight years, Ben Franklin's in St. Mary's and was a homemaker. She was a member of Britton Gospel Mission Church . Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00PM with Pastor Gilbert Neely presiding. Interment will follow in the Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 4-8PM and after 9AM on Monday until time of service.
