Norma Baker Obituary

Norma Virginia Baker, 81, of Route 2, Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born on September 20, 1929 in West Liberty a daughter of the late Dale Hukill Sr. and Gladys Gorby Hukill. Twice married she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Buffington. She is survived by her second husband, Robert Baker.

Also surviving are three stepdaughters, Debbie McFall and Diana Geipe, Clarksburg, Janet Board, New Cumberland, 10 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great grandchildren, one sister, Gay Little, Zephyrhills, FL, two brothers, Dale Hukill Jr. Wellsburg, George Buss Hukill, Springfield, OH and several nieces and nephews. One brother, William Lyle Hukill preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baker was retired from Macs Meat Marker as a manager with 10 years service. She then retired from Top Value Stamp Redemption Center as a manager with 9 years service. Norma enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the West Union Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 in the Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in the Kadesh Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Friday October 8, 2010 from 2-8 PM. The family will receive friends in the Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg on Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
