Naomi Williams Obituary

Naomi J. Crislip Williams, 91, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at her home in Salem surrounded by her family.  She was born on November 26, 1933 in New Milton a daughter of the late Elmer Crislip and Roxie Morgan Crislip.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Paul Williams who passed away on February 6, 2021.

She is survived by two children Eunice Taylor and husband Robert of New Milton and Mark Cade of Salem; four grandchildren, Robert C. “Bobby” Taylor and companion Dana McConnel of New Milton, Matthew S. Taylor of New Milton, Jessica Kelley and husband Eian of Salem and Melissa Hoskinson and husband Nathaniel of Salem; nine great grandchildren, Madison Mae Taylor, Cameron Taylor, Asheton Taylor, Sienna Rae Taylor, Porter Kelley, Georgia Kelley, Hess Kelley, Cora Hoskinson and Jimmy Hoskinson; one great great grandson, Parker Wayne Taylor; siblings, Dorothy Davis, Doris Pratt, Dianne Currey, Gary Crislip and Rex Crislip.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Swiger, and by her first husband Frank E. Cade

Naomi was a graduate of Doddridge High School, class of 1952. Naomi was a devoted businesswoman, owning and operating the Festival Restaurant for many years, as well as managing numerous rental properties. She was known for her talent in the kitchen and she was exceptional cook who found joy in preparing meals for family and friends.

Naomi had a deep love for her grandchildren and a lifelong affection for animals. She will be remembered for her strong will, generous spirit, and kind heart. Her determination was matched by her warmth, and those who knew her felt both her strength and her compassion.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home – West Union, 212 Front Street, West Union on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 3-7PM and on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Randy Plaugher officiating.
