Michael Wayne Runyon

Michael Wayne Runyon, 68 of West Union departed this life on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1950 in Charleston a son of the late Kenna and Willa Dean Payne Runyon. On December 11, 1976 he married Bonnie F. Nicholson Runyon who preceded him in death on July 9, 2012.



Surviving are on daughter Crystal Lau and husband William, West Union, one son Kenna Runyon and wife Sarah, Long Beach, MS, grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Carter and Samantha Runyon, David, Sylvia, Samuel Lau and Collan Runyon, sister, Karen Halter.



Mr. Runyon was a retired truck driver with over 26 years service. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, West Union.



A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the First Assembly of God Church, 203 Neely Ave. West Union with Pastor Joe Hoggard presiding. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Runyon family.
