Michael Wade Dotson

Michael Wade Dotson, 47 of Smithton Rd. West Union departed this life on Sunday, July 3, 2016. He was born in Clarksburg on October 2, 1968 to the late Donald Ray Dotson Sr. and Georgia Lee Kinney Dotson.

Surviving is one son Michael Wade Dotson Jr. West Union, one daughter, Megan Taylor Dotson, Pennsboro, one step son, Ryan Lattea and wife Sara, Pennsboro, three brothers, Donald Ray "Donnie" Dotson Jr. and wife Teresa, Kevin Dotson and wife Shelly, Chad Dotson and wife Jennifer, one sister, Lisa Dotson and companion Jim Lambert, all of West Union, grandchildren, Ryley, Gracey and Colbey Lattea 3 nieces and 4 nephews one great niece and 2 great nephews and his companion Angela Davis.

Mr. Dotson was an employee of Merrick Engineering Inc. as Maintenance Supervisor. He enjoyed dirt track racing and deer hunting. Mike also enjoyed taking walks at the park with Angela and spending time with his friends, family and most of all his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 1:00PM with Pastor Denver Burnside presiding. Interment will follow in the Randolph Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4-8PM and after 11AM on Saturday until time of service.
