Mary Leasure Obituary

Mary Louise Leasure, 53 of Louise Ave, West Union departed this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in her residence. She was born on August 5, 1965 in Clarksburg a daughter of the late Herbert Dewayne and Nettie Mural Yeater LeMasters. On February 14, 2001 she married Larry Leasure who survives her.

Also surviving are three sisters, June Jett and husband Brad and Jennifer K. LeMasters both of Clarksburg, Colleen Scott and her husband Charlie, Greenwood, two brothers Herbert F. LeMasters, NC and Roscoe J. Gum, Clarksburg, brother-in-law Roy Leasure, sister-in-law Barbara Leasure and two nephews Justin and Jason Leasure. Also her Boxer dog Buddy. Mary was preceded in death by one sister.

Mary was a volunteer at the Doddridge County Food Pantry and assisted her husband in lawn care business. She was a member of the West Union Christian Church and sang in the Cantata's. She was always willing to help wherever there was a need. She loved working with the younger children. Mary will be sadly missed by her family, friends and her church family.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00PM with Pastor Joe Schneider presiding. Interment will follow in the Freeman Cemetery, Piggin Run. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 4-8PM. Donations are appreciated in memory of Mary to help offset unexpected expenses. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Leasure family.
