Mary Bell Boring

Mary Boring, 83 of Big Flint Road, West Union passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 in her son's residence in Norman OK surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 19, 1932 in Washburn WV a daughter of the late Blain and Laura Pride McDonald. On October 27, 1951 she married Jack Eugene Boring who preceded her in death on July 6, 2015.

Mary is survived by two sons, Jack (Gene) Boring and wife Susie, Norman, Oklahoma, David Boring and wife Nina, West Union, grandchildren, Jason Boring and wife Alina, Stephanie Boring Kave and husband Kenny, Jeremy Boring and wife Andrea, great grandchildren, Amelia and Bailey Boring, Jackson, Makenna and Wyatt Kave and Kayli Boring, three step grandchildren, Rebecca, David and Jesse Hileman, four sisters, Aribell Sinnett, Susie Cutright, Rosalie (Sis) Wass of Harrisville, WV, Winona (Nona) Mullenix of Watertown, OH, one brother, Benny McDonald of Harrisville, WV. She was preceded in death by two sisters Techia Jones and Lucille Ayers, two brothers, Francis and Gary McDonald.

She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and the Bloomers CEOS. Mary was a homemaker and lifelong quilter who loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00PM with Pastor Robert Marino officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. Family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Saturday May 21, 2016 from 4-8PM and after 12 Noon on Sunday until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 54 McMillan Farm Rd., West Union, WV 26456. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Boring family.
