Marguerite Williams

Obituary-West Union- Marguerite Williams 89 of West Union passed away on September 23, 2019. She was born December 20, 1929 in Wood County a daughter of the late Ora and Sarah Lasure Carroll. She was preceded in death by her husband James Williams on August 2, 2000.



She is survived by three sisters, Cherokee Sue Fraser, West Union, Juanita Krafft and husband Arnold, West Union, Deloris J. Thompson and husband Jennings, West Union and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by six brothers, John Carroll, Leroy Carroll, Robert Carroll, Eugene Carroll, Edwin Carroll and Wetzel Carroll and one sister, Mary Adeline Wagner.



Mrs. Williams retired with 42 years of service from Quality Garment Factory as a seamstress and repair girl. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove Church.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Robert Sponaugle and Pastor Jeff McKinney presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 25th from 2-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
