Liliana Irene Cunningham

Liliana Irene Cunningham 88 of Greenwood departed this life on Saturday August 16, 2014 in the United Hospital Center. She was born on August 29, 1925 in Montalcino, Italy a daughter of the late Cesare and Anna Giorgi Centini.On January 19, 1946 she married Chesley C. Cunningham who preceded her in death on July 2, 1989.

Surviving are two daughters, Viviana Albrecht and husband Gregory, Glenville, PA, Tina Moore and husband Dwight Moore, West Union, one son Mario Cunningham and wife Sandra, Greenwood, grandchildren, Brian Cunningham, Wendy Cox, Chad Albrecht, Christopher Albrecht, Tracy Albrecht, Andrea McCue, Rayme Pullen, Salena Moore, Caleb Moore, great grandchildren, Josh Cox, Maddison Albrecht, Jenna Albrecht, Sydney Albrecht, Chesley Albrecht, Liliana Albrecht,Chloe Albrecht, Connor Cunningham, Kaitlyn Cunningham and Jalise Cunningham, step grandchildren, D.J. Owens, Kimberly Hilliard and Sheri Kennedy. Two sisters, Santina Stevelti, Primetta Raciti and one brother, Dino Centini preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cunningham met her husband while he was stationed in Italy during WWII. They owned a poultry farm. Liliana had been employed by the local garmet factories from 1960-1978 and had also worked as a foster grandparent.She had also been a caregiver for many years. Liliana was a member of the Doddridge County Senior Citizens and Central Station RLDS Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00AM with Larry Cottrill presiding.Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union.The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 4-8PM.
