Lewis "L.E." Knight II Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lewis Edward Knight II (L.E.) on February 28, 2024 at his home. L.E. would have been 58 years old on April 12, 2024.

L.E. resided in Jane Lew, WV for the last seven years, and grew up in West Union, and graduated from Doddridge County High School. He was a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in Las Vegas, Nevada and for the last 15 years worked for JF Allen Company.

L.E. was the most fun-loving, genuine, caring and helpful father, son, brother, cousin, and friend. He was always there to lend a hand, tell a joke, and drink a beer with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and had the most charisma and contagious laugh. L.E. was country tried-and-true. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, and hunting, especially deer season.

He leaves behind his most prized possession, his son and only child, Tucker Lewis Knight, his soulmate, Tara Johnson, and his loyal companion Colt. In addition, L.E. is survived by his parents, Lewis and Carolyn Knight, three sisters: Marta Gardner, Mikki (Bryan) Leatherman, Monica (Chad) Norman, four nieces and two nephews, and three great nieces and one great nephew,

Preceding him in his passing was his brother-in-law, Timothy Gardner, and his cousin, Dana Goff. Both of whom he loved like brothers.

Though he may have left this world too soon, his memories will live on in our hearts, a testament to his profound impact on those blessed to have known him.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 11AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00PM with Jessica Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Garden Foundation, a non-profit program that benefits adults with disabilities. This Foundation was created by his niece, Taylor Gardner Chaney and was very dear to his heart.
