Leslie Eugene Exline Sr. 73 of West Union departed this life on December 14, 2017 in United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. He was born on December 23, 1943 in Wilsonburg, a son of the late Leslie Artist and Ruth Emmaline Hammond Exline. On June 14, 1985 he married Linda Wilkinson Exline who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Samantha Jackson and her husband Randall, Bunker Hill, Darlene Burnside and her husband Rev. Jeffrey, Hunters Fork, two sons Robert Exline and companion Sandra Gragg, Salem, Leslie Exline Jr. and companion Brandi Williams, Corbin, KY, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, one sister, Janie Kirkpatrick, Clarksburg, two brothers, James Baker and his wife Deborah, Inwood, Bill Baker and companion Sally Smith, Salem. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlene Exline, two sisters, Roberta Beverly and Ruthie Baker, two brothers Ray and Chuck Exline. Leslie had worked in carpentry and was a bus driver and a minister. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping and gardening. He was a member of B.G.D. Church. At his request he was cremated and there will be no services. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Exline family.
