Lee Kessler Smith,

Lee Kessler Smith Jr. of Gum Run Rd. Pennsboro (Greenwood Community) entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 3, 2015 in the Pineview Nursing Home, Harrisville. He was born on February 6, 1943 in Hagerstown, MD a son of the late Lee Kessler Smith Sr. and Faye Hopkins Smith. His wife of 50 years Judith Snyder Smith survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Eric Smith, Frederick, MD, Alex Smith and wife Tonya, Mont Alto, PA, two grandsons, Spencer & Garrison Smith, one sister, Frances Southan, Richardson, TX.

Mr. Smith was a graduate of East Juniata High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics & Math from Susquehanna University in 1965. He worked for IBM and Westinghouse as a Senior Computer Analyst. Lee enjoyed flying as a hobby, and helping establish Christian Radio. He attended Crimson River Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be conducted in the Crimson River Baptist Church, West Union on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 3PM with Pastor Denver Burnside officiating.
