Larry "Okie Doak" Gene Doak

Larry "Okie Doak" Gene Doak, 74 of New Cumberland, WV and formerly of West Union, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the United Hospital Center surrounded by his family.

Larry was born June 4, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Duane Eugene and Ada Elen Doak.

Larry is survived by his significant other of 22 years, Pamela Sweat; his daughter, Jennifer Skinner of Weirton, WV; two grandchildren, Mason Skinner and Makenna Skinner, both of Weirton, WV; his fur companion, Babe; two siblings, Kenny Doak of Weirton and Karen Hall of Weirton; several nieces and nephews

Larry served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from the Weirton Steel Garage as a heavy equipment mechanic. He loved riding his Harley on the open road, helping his friends work on their Harleys, weekly Friday Trips to Rogers Sale (known as the Mayor for Rogers), collecting over 4o years worth of antiques.

Per his wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
