Kimberly "Kim" Ann (Smith) Plance

Kimberly “Kim” Ann Plance, 65 of West Union, passed away  at home on Monday, February 3, 2025 at her residence with her loving husband by her side. She was born on September 1, 1959 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Nelson James and Betty Jane Duffield Smith. Kim was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, doing arts and crafts, reading, swimming, being outdoors, camping, fishing, and doing her nails. She loved spending time with her family and loved her animals. Kim is survived by her husband of 24 years, Shawn Michael Plance whom she married on October 31, 2000; three daughters, Heather Collins, Lost Creek, Carrie Hartley (James Jr), Grafton, Brandi McKinney (Brady Carder) Salem; four grandchildren, Brian Terrant, Destiny Sigley (Austin), Leviah Hartley, and Haven Hartley; three great grandchildren, Layla, Kohen, and Baylor; two brothers, Neil Smith (Marilyn) Morgantown, Rick Smith (Peg), West Union, mother-in-law Melody Smith, New Milton; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 11AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor David Masto officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her Care Fund on her memorial page.
