Kathryn "Sue" Bolte Wallace

Kathryn “Sue” Bolte Wallace 82, of Salem passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Crestview Manor. Sue was born in New Milton, WV on May 21, 1942 a daughter of the late Bernard “Tom” Earl and Bertha Azeline Sutton Bolte. In 1998, she married Richard “Dick” Louis Wallace, who survives. Also surviving are three children, Bernard “Bernie” Yeager (Ellalyne) Manassas, VA, Kathy Sue Baisden (Bryan), Douglas L Yeager (Cecile) all of Leesburg, VA; daughter-in-law, Melanie Yeager, Jarvisville; four grandchildren, Austin and Brett Baisden, Blake and Clarissa Yeager; one sister, Linda Davis (Robert), Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Chuck Yeager; one sister, Ruth Yeager. Sue graduated from Doddridge County High School and West Virginia Business College. She retired from the FBI Center. She was a lifetime member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. Sue enjoyed square dancing, listening to gospel music, walks in the country, being a homemaker and family time. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home West Union, 212 Front Street West Union WV on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 3-7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon with Rev Roger Fontaine officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Memorial Cemetery, West Union.
