Julie Mae Russell

Julie Mae Russell, 42 of West Union received her wings and went home on Thursday, October 26, 2017. She was born on September 19, 1975 in Clarksburg a daughter of Carol Gene Cogar Sr., Cabin Run and Carolyn Carpenter Uhl, West Union.

Surviving are one son, Logan Russell and girlfriend, Jordyn Coffman, West Union, one daughter, Sidney Squires, Salem, fianc Joey Squires, Salem, three sisters, Mary Guiles and husband Brent, Bellefontaine, OH, Edna Jones and husband Ernest, Parkersburg, Edith Rhodes and husband Will, Bellefontaine, OH, one brother, Carol Gene Cogar Jr., West Union, one unborn grandson, Carter Allen Russell, step father, Duane Uhl, step mother, Carol Jean Cogar.

Julie enjoyed going to the beach and attending Logan's and Sidney's school activities. She also enjoyed spending time with family and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1:00PM with Pastor Danny Lipscomb presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 11AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 until time of service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the family.
