Juanita "Skeeter" McConnell

Juanita "Skeeter" McConnell, 81 of England's Run Rd. West Union departed this life on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in the home of her niece Debbie Ferrell surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 11, 1937 on England's Run Rd. a daughter of the late Charles Clair and Chesna Sutton McConnell.



Surviving are three nieces, Beth Ann Gill, West Union, Debbie Ferrell and husband Dave, England's Run Rd., Mary McConnell, England's Run Rd. and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Blaine McConnell, Charles Lane McConnell, one sister, Chesna Helen Merritt, one niece Patty Demorest and two great nephews Chad and Louie Baker.



Juanita had worked for the Garment Factory in West Union and was a homemaker. She was a loving sister and aunt and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Juanita attended Smithburg United Methodist Church.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Davis presiding. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery, Smithburg. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 11 a.m. until time of service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the McConnell family.
