John Kreyenbuhl Obituary

John Clement Kreyenbuhl, 77 of New Milton departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 3, 1940 in Clarksburg a son of the late Clement Leopold and Regina Droppleman Kreyenbuhl. On May 21, 1960 he married Charlotte Ragland Kreyenbuhl who survives.



Also surviving are one daughter, Terry K. Swisher and husband Keith, St. Clara, one son, John Clement Kreyenbuhl Jr. and wife Tammy, Bristol, grandchildren, Holly M Flournoy and husband David, Thomaston, GA, Kristen A. Swisher, Morgantown, Kaitlyn A. Underwood and husband Joshua, Salem, Miranda L Singleton, Bridgeport, Johnathon C. Kreyenbuhl, Bristol, Tammy Mick, Bristol, great grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Brianna Flournoy, Thomaston, GA, Gianni, Vincent Folio, Bridgeport, great great grandchild, Adyson B. Flournoy, Thomaston, GA, one sister, Sister Mary Joan Kreyenbuhl, CSJ , Parkersburg. One granddaughter preceded him in death, Hope Marie Swisher.



Mr. Kreyenbuhl retired from Rish Equipment as a Parts Manager with over 30 years service. He was a member of I.U.O.E. Local #132 of which he had served as Steward. John had served on the Doddridge County of Board of Education from 1988-1994 and the Board of Directors of United Technical Center, Gore. He was a 1959 graduate of Notre Dame High School and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11:-00 a.m. in the St. Clare Catholic Church with Father Joshua Stevens as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Clare Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 p.m. which will conclude visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.spurgeonfunerals.com. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Kreyenbuhl family.
