John Christian Davis

John Christian Davis, 46, of Crystal Lake Rd., West Union departed this life on Friday, August 28, 2015 in United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. He was born on April 5, 1969 at Alexandria, VA a son of John P. Davis, West Union and Sharon Sue Jones Jackson, Bradenton, FL.

Surviving are two sons, Tanner and Chase Davis, both of Ijamsville, MD.

Mr. Davis was a 1987 graduate of Damascus High School, Damascus, MD. He had been employed by Sadtler Construction for 18 years as a carpenter and Andrew Home Improvement as an independent contractor. Most recently he had worked for Baker-Hughes as a Solid Control Field Operator. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his two sons and his K-9 friend "Sable". Chris also enjoyed spending time with his Dad and sons at Crystal Lake and the hunting camp. He was Methodist by faith.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor David McCauley officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2-8PM.
