Jeffrey Porter Obituary

Jeffrey D. Porter Sr. 55 of West Union departed this life on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 due to complications of throat cancer. He was born on April 18, 1963 at Westminster, MD a son of the late Noah Porter and Jean Porter of West Union.

Also surviving are one daughter Darla Miller, Gettysburg, PA, two sons, Jeffrey D. Porter Jr., Shippensburg, PA, Joseph Porter, Gettysburg, PA five grandchildren, one brother, R. Lee Porter, West Union, three sisters, Debra Porter, Lori DeVage and Barbara Grimes. One brother, Larry Porter precedes him in death.

Mr. Porter was a self employed carpenter. He was a loving son, father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

At his request he was cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Porter family.
