Janet Lynn Fraley

Janet Lynn Fraley, 74 of Piggin Run Rd. West Union departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 16, 1945 in West Union a daughter of the late Harold and Elma Williams Lipscomb. On December 22, 1967 she married James Robert Fraley Jr. who survives.



Also surviving are one daughter, Kristin Michelle Fraley, West Union, two sons, Robert Glenn Fraley and wife Shelly, West Union, James Bryan Fraley and companion Heather, Gastonia, NC, grandchildren, Michael Glenn Fraley, Robert Hunter Sellers, Jason Andrew Fraley, Kayleigh Ann Fraley and Abigail Hope Fraley, one brother, David Lipscomb, Harrisville. One infant daughter, Nicole Fraley and one brother, Dennis Lipscomb precedes her in death.



Mrs. Fraley graduated from Doddridge County High School and received her BA in Education from Glenville State College. She retired from the Tyler County Board of Education as an English Teacher with 34 years service at Tyler Consolidated High School. Janet was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and attended the Women's Bible Study. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens but most of all spending time with her family.



Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David McCauley presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashburn Cemetery, Piggin Run. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 18th from 4-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
