Jack Eugene Boring

Jack Eugene Boring, 81of Big Flint Road, West Union departed this life on Monday, July 6, 2015 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 10, 1933 in Boothsville a son of the late Harry ( Babe) Boring and Thelma Robbins Boring Pitts. On October 27, 1951 he married Mary McDonald Boring who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jack (Gene) Boring and wife Susie, Norman, Oklahoma, David Boring and wife Nina, West Union, three sisters, Judy Davis, Wilmington, NC, Sue Johnson, FL, Linda Davis, Bridgeport, grandchildren, Jason Boring and wife Alina, Stephanie Boring Kave and husband Kenny, Jeremy Boring and wife Andrea, great grandchildren, Amelia and Bailey Boring, Jackson, MaKenna and Wyatt Kave and Kayli Boring, three step grandchildren, Rebecca, David & Jesse Hileman. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth (Buck) Boring, Larry Boring and Raymond (Jock) Boring and one sister Martha Boring.

Jack was a retired Bricklayer from U-Car Corporation, Masonry & Bricklayers Local #15. He was a member of Friendship Lodge #56 AF&AM and Liberty Baptist Church where he was an honorary Deacon and Greeter.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 1:00PM with Pastor Robert Marino officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. Family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5-8PM and after 9AM on Friday until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 54 McMillan Farm Rd., West Union, WV 26456 or Peoples Hospice, 327 Medical Park Dr., Bridgeport, WV 26330-9952 Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at spurgeonfunerals.com.
