Gregory William Brunner,Sr.

Gregory William Brunner Sr., 48, of Sistersville Pike, West Union passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence.

He was born on June 28, 1961 in Weirton a son of Gerald Jerry and Patricia (Patty) McMillan Brunner, Weirton.



Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Ethlyn McMillan, Weirton, his companion, Cheryl Wright, and their five children, Greg Brunner Jr. and Eric Brunner, Weirton, Tim Wright, Brandon Wright and Grace Brunner, West Union, four sisters, Gina Hukill and husband Joe, Bath PA, Julie Libengood and husband Terry, Weirton, Teresa Brunner, Weirton, Twila Cunningham and husband Jason, New Cumberland, nieces, and nephews, Justin and Megan Hukill, David Libengood, Maelynne Brunner, Kayla Mae Talkington, two great nieces, Hailey and Hannah Hukill and his Uncle Bud and Aunt Barbara McMillan. His paternal grandparents, William and Hazel Rueff Brunner and maternal grandfather, John I. Mc Millan preceded him in death.


He attended Weir High School with the class of 1979 and was a certified electrician. He was a veteran of the United Stated Army and Baptist by faith.


His family honored his wishes by holding a private family viewing before cremation. He will be missed greatly and forever remembered.
