Francis Blaine Plauger, 55 of West Union departed this life on Sunday, April 22, 2018. He was born on October 28, 1962 in Weston to Dorsey Blaine Plauger, New Milton and Wilma Moore Hart, West Union. On August 10, 1990 he married Deborah Lea Kimball Plauger who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Michelle Jorge and husband Tony, Lithia Springs, GA, Tina Ash and companion Jimmy Davis, Salem, Angel Myers Plauger, Clarksburg, one son, Charlie Myers, Salem, three sisters, Doris Pauley and husband Joseph, West Union, Liz Bland and husband Ronnie, Brenda Plauger, both of Salem, brothers, Blaine Plauger and companion Amy, J.R. Boyce and wife Lynn, Jeff Bonnell and wife Aretta, all of West Union, Monty Wilson and wife Pam, Harrisville, Stanley Webb and wife Sheryl, Clark Thompson and wife Missy, both of West Union, five grandchildren, Micha Foster, Dava Myers, Tristan Stephens, Saydie Myers and Chaz Myers, one great grandson, Jace Foster, step mother, Dottie Stradley, West Union, step father, Chuck Hart, West Union, several nieces and nephews and his K-9 sons, Clyde and Dale. Francis was preceded in death by one brother, Tommy Kimball, one great grandson, Nickolas Bowen, mother-in-law, Betty Kimball and his K-9 friend Omen.
Mr. Plauger was employed in the Telecommunications Business with 35 year's service. He enjoyed watching Steelers Football, NASCAR and reading Westerns.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Burnside presiding. Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Plauger family.
