Euna Gay Engstrom

West Union-"Precious father, loving mother, fly across the lonely years". Euna Gay Engstrom, 82 was granted her greatest wish in the early morning hours of Sunday January 10, 2016 to meet her savior Jesus Christ. She was reunited with the love of her life, her husband Don; her parents, brothers and little Ginger. Euna was born on August 4, 1934 in Doddridge County the daughter of the late Hayward and Amy Church Boyce. After graduating high school she moved to Warren, OH and worked for Packard Electric until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Doddridge CEO's and her beloved Union Mission Church, New Milton. She was a creative soul who made many things for her loved ones. She is survived by her children, Toni Engstrom with whom she made her home, Traci (Jerry) Naylor and Donald (Heather) Engstrom ; granddaughters, Devon and Danielle Engstrom, Maribeth (R.J.) Fonda and Adrianna and Madison Thorstad; great grandchildren, Asher and Peyton Fonda. "In the stillness of the midnight, precious sacred scenes unfold".
Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in the Union Mission Cemetery, New Milton. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-8PM. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Engstrom family.
