Ellen Elizabeth Froehlig

Ellen Elizabeth Froehlig, 93 of Sand Fork Rd. New Milton, WV departed this life on Monday, June 4, 2012 in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Greenwich, CT. on January 8, 1918 a daughter of the late Delavan and Florence Berry Whaley. On June 29, 1947 she married George Froehlig who preceded her in death on April 17, 2002.

Surviving is one daughter, Elizabeth Jerrett and husband Paul, New Milton, two grandchildren, Ethan Jerrett, Pittsburgh, PA, Amanda Jerrett, Alpharetta, GA, one brother, Ned Whaley, Portland, ME and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Froehlig was a graduate of Trenton State College, New Jersey where she received a BS degree in Elementary Education. She taught elementary education in California and New Jersey. Ellen had a long and interesting life.
