Edith Lynn Tomaszewski

Edith Lynn Tomaszewski, 86 of Homestead St. West Union departed this life on Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was born on September 30, 1924 in Smithburg a daughter of the late Albert and Pluma Arnett Tennant. On February 23, 1948 she married Edward Tomaszewski who preceded her in death on April 10, 1999.

Surviving are two sisters, Wilda Cross, West Union, Nila Tennant, Parkersburg, one sister-in law, Jean Tennant, Cincinnati, OH and several nieces and nephews. One sister, Eva June Tennant, one brother, Keith Tennant and one brother-in-law Bernard Cross preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tomaszewski was retired from Kroger Company with 41 years service as head cashier. She was an avid reader.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union with Pastor Tom Waters presiding. The family will receive friends in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Wednesday, April 20th from 10:30AM-12:30PM.
