Obituary-West Union-Edith E. McCune of Arnoldscreek Rd. West Union departed this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born on Cabin Run a daughter of the late Roy and Esta Stull Whitehair. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McCune.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Burch and husband Richard, Sunnyside, grandchildren, Joshua Burch and companion Amanda, New Martinsville, Richard Burch and wife Hanna, Pennsboro, Jason Nutter, Ellenboro, Jessica Crouch and husband Steve, Berea, Jennifer Nutter and companion Ronnie, Ellenboro, Christina and Sarah Reed, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Betty Devore, Parkersburg, Daughter-in-law, Vickie Nutter, Ellenboro, nephew, Larry Whitehair and wife Valerie, Sardis She was also preceded in death by one son, Armond Nutter three brothers and two sisters.
Edith had been employed by Beagle's Lumber where she worked on a saw mill. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and gardening as well as all outdoor activities; but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
