Eddie Arnold Morgan

Eddie Arnold Morgan, 64 of Rt.2 West Union, Big Flint Community departed this life on March 6, 2011. He was born on March 20, 1946 on Big Flint a son of the late Edward and Ila Mae Seese Morgan. On October 29, 1975 he married Anna Marie Seese Morgan who survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Crystal Morgan, Hepzibah, one granddaughter, Kristen Bennett, one grandson, Alexander Paugh, three sisters, Bonnie Knotts, Mildred Roy, both of West Union, Judy Morgan, Point Pleasant and several nieces and nephews. One son, Eddie Morgan Jr., two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Mr. Morgan was retired from the U. S. Navy with 22 years service. He was employed by the FBI in the security and maintenance department with six years service. Eddie enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and the company of his two dogs, Benny and Prince. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Eddie was United Methodist by faith.

Funeral services will be held in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front. St. West Union on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 1:00PM with Pastor Rick Murphy presiding. Interment will follow in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 4-8 PM and after 9AM on Thursday until time of service. Full Military gravesides rites will be accorded by the combined Doddridge County Veterans Organizations.
