Denese Alleynne Deming Hughes

Denese Alleynne Deming Hughes, 55, of Route 1, West Union passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on February 23, 1954 in Pasadena, CA a daughter of James Deming , West Union and Valeria Richards Deming Naify, South Lake, Tahoe, CA. On October 28, 1972 she married John Arthur Hughes who survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Elizabeth Earlyne Bessette, West Union, one son, Michael Eric Hughes and wife, Michelle, Gardnerville, Nevada, 4 granddaughters, Alexis Thorogood, Hailey Hughes, Kayla Thorogood and Madison Hughes, two grandsons, Michael J. Hughes and Jerad Morgan, one sister, Kathy Briedenbach, Gardnerville, Nevada and one brother, Breck Deming, South Lake, Tahoe, CA.

Mrs. Hughes was employed for 6 years by the State of West Virginia at North Bend State Park in Guest Relations. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, friends. Denese had a great appreciation for nature and all of WV wildlife.

A memorial service is being planned at a later date in North Bend State Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Peoples Hospice P.O. Box 1680 Clarksburg, WV 26301
