Deena Ann Powell

Deena Ann Powell 62 of Big Flint Rd. Salem received her Angel Wings on Friday, April 8, 2016 at her home. She was born in Clarksburg on July 18, 1953 a daughter of Darrell D. "Jack" Powell, Big Flint Rd. Salem and the late Doris J. Shaver Powell.

Surviving are one sister, Denese Lamp and husband Dave, Harrisville, one brother, Tim Powell and wife Crystal, Salem, a special Aunt Betty Madtiz, Salem, nieces and nephews, Michelle Jones and husband Jason, Parkersburg, Derrick Lamp and wife Samantha, Harrisville, Amanda Powell, Morgantown, Brooke Britton and husband Mark, Salem, Brittney Hass and husband Ronnie, West Union, Holden Powell, West Union, great nieces and nephews, Isabella and Gavin Jones, Colton Lamp, Brooklyn Clarke, Lennox and Semaj Nicholas, Hunter and Harper Hass.

Deena Ann was considered the Number 1 Angel. She will be remembered by her contagious laugh and big smile and was a blessing to everyone she met. She was blessed with a loving kind way and never met a stranger. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Deena Ann was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church, Big Flint. The family wishes to acknowledge her special care-giver, Belinda Lockhart for the wonderful care she provided to Deena. They are also very thankful for the care People's Hospice provided.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 1:00PM with Pastor Robert Marino and Pastor Adam Cheeseman officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, Crystal Lake. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 2-8PM and after 9AM on Monday until time of service.
