Connie Jo Charles

Connie Charles, 50, of New Milton passed away on June 28, 2008 in the United Hospital Center. She was born on January 16, 1958 in Columbus, OH a daughter of Thelma Norris Clagg, Columbus, OH and the late Owen Johnnie Clagg. On January 10, 1979 she married James Charles Jr. who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Thelma Jo Pasko and husband Andrew, Clarksburg, three sons, Ricky Charles, Hazard, KY, Earmel Charles and wife Stephanie, Hazard, Ky, James Paul Charles and wife Melissa, New Milton, three sisters, Adelia Dee Kristy and husband Michael, Mildred Lanning and husband Jim both of Columbus, OH, Lola Richard, Knoxville, TN, one brother, Johnnie Owen Clagg and wife Cathy, Port Richie, FL, 12 grandchildren, Josh Baker, Amber, Austin and Nicholas Charles, Noah Ritchie, Abigail, Gabrielle and James Richard Charles, Andrew Conner Pasko, Sara Elizabeth, Jessie and Eric Charles, one great grandson, Gauge Taylor Charles.

Mrs. Charles was in home health care for 23 years and owned and operated Tender Care Home Health, New Milton. She enjoyed wood carving. Connie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.

Friends may call in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on July 2, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and after 9AM on Thursday until time of service. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday July 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Masto officiating. Interment will follow in the Randolph Cemetery, West Union.
