Obituary-West Union-Cledith "Bub" Davis, 64 of West Union departed this life on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at his residence. He was born on September 17, 1958 at Clarksburg a son of the late Harold Price and Minnie Hayes Davis. On December 3, 2021 he married Cathy Loyd Davis who survives.
Also surviving is one son, Cledith Davis II, Wolf Summit, one daughter, Christina Dotson (Donnie), West Union, four step children, eight grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren, two sisters, Judy Webb, West Union, Linda Cotona, NC, and several nieces and nephews. One brother Emerson Clifford "Ted" Davis preceded him in death.
Mr. Davis was an over the road trucker for 42 years and retired from Nicholson Auto. He enjoyed listening to country music, working on small engines and spending time with family.
At his request he was cremated and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be extended to the family at www.spurgeonfunerals.com. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Davis family.
