Carolyn Rae Evans

Carolyn Rae "Bunky" Evans, 75 of West Union departed this life on April 28, 2018 in Salem Genesis Center. She was born on July 6, 1942 in West Union a daughter of the late Howard and Edith M. Stull Friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Ronald Evans on November 16, 2012.



Surviving are one son Robert Bradley Evans, Salem, one brother, Paul Friend, Pine Grove, one sister, Leiva Jo Webb , West Union, grandchildren, Tyler, Jeremy, Brett and Conor, great granddaughter, Arrorah Evans, two nephews, Jason Friend, Toby Nicholson, one niece, Megan Perine. Carolyn was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.



Carolyn had worked for Terry's TV and Appliance Repair as a receptionist. She had attended Lydia Chapel United Methodist Church.



A Celebration of Carolyn's life will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Lloyd presiding. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Evans family.
